There is a lot to do in the Surfside Beach area, below are some ideas:

-Surfside Pier is located approximately 2 miles east & you can walk to a restaurant located on the pier and enjoy a nice oceanfront breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Prices are reasonable.
-Swimming 
-Fishing 
-Scuba Diving (I recommend Nu Horizons) 
-Water Park (Wild, Water & Wheels - a couple minutes from our condo) 
-Several Golf Courses in addition to Miniature Golf in the area. 
-The Carolina Opry or Dixie Stampede (North end of Myrtle Beach) 
-Huntington State Park or Myrtle Beach State Park 
-Brookgreen Gardens 
-Several shopping malls & plazas 
-Hundreds of Restuarants & if you love seafood - try Murrells Inlet area (about 10 minutes South of here) 
-Medieval Times, Ripley's Aquarium, Amusement Park & the list goes on & on for the Myrtle Beach/Surfside Area
